Stain Glass Windows

It is said by some that our bodies are our temples. Well when I look at temples the thing I notice the most are the beautiful stain glass windows. The windows grab your attention and keep your gaze. These windows are art. Some just consist of color but most depict something and tell a story. Each story is exceptional. Tattoos are a way of telling one’s story. These are our stain glass windows. Not always do we want to share and continuously discuss our personal experiences that make us who we are. We want those reminders around us and these tattoos do that. Like every person and every temple, we are all different and have unique stories and stain glass windows. Each mean something unique to everyone, here are some of these stories…

  • “My tattoo means I’m Not alone. There is something bigger than me that I carry on my shoulder. It reminds me that I’m stronger than I think.” –David Weldon

  • “My grandma loves roses and ironically hates tattoos.” –Kristy Johnson

  • “I got this tattoo to remind me that no matter how difficult and dark life can be, god will always be there and guide me through it as long as I have faith in him.” –Josh Williams

  • “This tattoo means first and foremost the uniform I wear. It represents me and all those who have gone before me. The eagle stands for these United States we live in. The shield is that I will protect and fight for the things I care about.” –Jake Sorenson

  • “I got this tattoo of a daisy on my arm right next to scars. This is to symbolize to myself, growth and healing. My tattoo means that I am capable to get through hard things.” –Mckenna Anderson

  • “In a word it means brotherhood and my calf one was really just for fun. The one on my thigh is a reminder.” –Jake Foster

  • “It means family is everything in German. Without family you don’t have anything.” – Ted Holtman

  • “My tattoos tell my story, the good and the bad. They show the major events who make me who I am.” –Jonathan Corliss

Every tattoo has a story each distinctive and special. They tell their own story so I don’t have to.
